We are beyond excited to introduce Kellyn McMullan as the creator behind our very first influencer collaboration collection! Kellyn was a total dream to work with and we are obsessed with how her collection turned out. It features perfect summer colors and a New York-centric theme. While Kellyn resides in NYC, New York represents so many things to so many people – hope, dreams, fun, food, and so much more – and regardless where you live, we’re excited to bring New York to you!

MEET KELLYN!

I'm Kellyn (it rhymes with melon) and I'm a twenty-something living in NYC! I work full-time in fashion as an Assistant Buyer and I love creating content on my weekends/evenings. I live with my boyfriend of almost 5 years + our cat Scobey, and in my free time I love exploring the city, hanging out with friends, and working out. I'm so excited to partner with Happy Hour Collective on this new launch!!

How I got into influencing

I was signed as a model in high school and loved the creative process behind photoshoots! I used to collaborate with photographers, stylists, MUA's, hair stylists, etc. to create photos for my portfolio and I thought it was so fun. When I went to Ball State University to college, those opportunities stopped and I decided to create that experience for myself on my blog and social media. I've loved getting to collaborate with other creatives, meet new people, and attend cool events through it! I've been able to attend NYFW a few times now and have even met my influencer idol - Tezza!

New York City

I had a summer internship in NYC while I was in college and absolutely fell in LOVE with this city. I moved here a few months after graduating to pursue my career in Fashion Buying. I love the hustle, the inspiration, and the energy that the city gives off. My favorite things to do are get bottomless brunch (Toro Loco, Maya, and Carroll Place are some of my faves!), walk around the different neighborhoods and be spontaneous, attend workout classes, and enjoy the nightlife scene! There's always a new place to check out and there's always fun events going on.

About my collection

My collection was inspired by color, positivity, weekend vibes, and of course - NYC! I've always been someone who wears color in NYC, where the primary dress code is the color black. I prefer to brighten up the city and make it happy/fun again! I want you to feel inspired and happy when you wear these pieces! Every time I've worn them so far (at a brunch, running errands, walking to a workout class, etc.) I've gotten compliments from New Yorkers! I cannot wait to see how you style these!
